Özge Okur is currently an Assistant Professor at Systems Engineering section at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. Her position has an emphasis on education. She pursued her PhD at Delft University of Technology, and obtained her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Aalto University in Finland.

Her research supports the integration of renewable energy sources in the current power system using demand response and energy storage applications via aggregators. She analyzes challenges and benefits resulting from these applications in a multi-actor context. For this purpose, she mainly uses various optimization methods. She is also interested in electricity market design and regulations.
