Stephan Lukosch and Alexander Verbraeck were both invited as speakers to the SPAR Europe & European LiDAR Mapping Forum (http://www.sparpointgroup.com/Europe/). Stephan Lukosch (http://www.sparpointgroup.com/SPAR-Europe-ELMF-2013-Stephan-Lukosch/) reported on recent project results with regard to virtual Co-Location for crime scene investigation. Alexander Verbraeck (http://www.sparpointgroup.com/SPAR-Europe-ELMF-2013-Alexander-Verbraeck/) presented results from a joint project with ProRail on digital surveying and asset management using photogrammetry. For the first time, SPAR Europe and ELMF take place alongside each other, giving LiDAR and 3D imaging professionals from around the world an opportunity to gain knowledge in their respective areas with a view to how these technologies increasingly overlap.
