Augmented reality for emergency services has received media attention. Using augmented reality, the police might in future be able to provide information for police agents in the neighbourhood to handle unforeseen situations, the Netherlands Forensic Institute might in future be able to provide information (procedures, dangerous or hazardous items) for forensic researcher on a crime scene to collect evidence or the fire department might in future be able to provide information (maps, dangerous or hazardous items) for fireman during operation.
